The IGNFA sports contingent leaves Dehradun to participate in the Annual All-India Forest Sports Meet held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Realising the powerful impact a movie could have on human psyche, two inspirational movies in the sports genre were screened on 29th January 2008. And we screamed Chak De IGNFA through these two signature movies centered around team building and sportsmanship - Chak De India and Jump In.

- SHORT FILM MAKING - Popularising the art of short film-making through competitions, discussions and workshops
- ENVIRONMENTAL APPRECIATION AND LEADERSHIP INITIATIVES - Helping students gain a new appreciation for relationships with natural world, thus increasing their stake in tommorow's decisions.

- MONSOON FILM FESTIVAL, AUG 10-18, 2007 with emphasis on socially relevant films belonging to English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada languages
- THE FIRST IGNFA SHORT FILM CONTEST, AUG 18, 2007 where around 25 short-films conceptualised and created by the Officer trainees themselves, belonging to humour and non-humour categories, were screened. They were evaluated by a Special Jury and the audience as well. Prizes were distributed on the final cultural evening of Meghotsav, 2007
